Other Information

Mount Zhaga

Mount Zhaga is the stone mountain on the west side of Songpan town. According to the local Tibetan people, it is one of eight “brother mountains” spread across Songpan, JiuZhaiGou, and RuoErGai counties of Aba Prefecture. It stands at the north end of Songpan’s Muni Valley. On a clear day, hiking up Mount Zhaga provides some of the best views of Xuebaoding Snow Mountain. It is one of the most easily accessed mountains near Songpan, but it’s height of nearly 14,300ft (4,358m) makes for a challenging, yet very fun ascent.
